Where is the best place to stay up to date on the worlds?

All new information & guides & tips will be posted on The 22nd IC worlds FB page

Q-What does my entry fee get me/cover?

A-Racing to all races & the NYCC if eligible, a worlds event shirt & medallion, tickets to all social events for the entrant, cost's of prizes & ICF podium medal's, photo/video & drone coverage of the event (hi res copies available for purchase), administration & event costs.

Q-How do I enter & Pay?

A-Entries will be online through AussieIC shop & you will be able to enter once the NOR has been published (January 2026). All entries will need to be endorsed by their national body & we are able to accept Credit card or Bank transfers for payment.

Q-Where is a good place to get weather info?

A-The BOM (Bureau of Meteorology) is probably the most reliable forcast tool BOM, do not rely on Seabreeze as the prediction model is set up for the west coast. Other good sources are willy weather & predict wind if you want to pay for a premium service.

A-The containers can be delivered a couple of weeks before the regatta. Exact time frames will be confirmed 6 months out.

A-There is no containber storage at the club (they will be about 1.5 km away) but the ICAA will organise the relocation of the boats & gear to the reserve.

Q-How secure are the containers?

A-The containers are in a spot that is accessible by the public so it is advisable to lock the containers before & during the worlds if they arrive early, though instances of theft our interference have not been heard of.

Q-When can we start sailing from the club?

A-You can start sailing anytime, there will be a safety boat on stand by from the 6th of February & a RIB that can be launched if required earlier so there is nothing stopping you sailing before then.
